Convocation Save the Date - HOW TO CHANGE

The Save the Date image is now in an online editor which allows the Honors Department to alter its date/time each year.听

First, .听 (how to login)

Then (not in Modern Campus CMS, but here on this webpage), click the following text (Click me!) in order to bring up a different window of Modern Campus CMS:听

In the file-listing, look for the file "HonorsConvo.bfd". It is your Save-the-Date image. Right-click the filename and choose "Save Link as". Save this image-file to somewhere on your PC. Remember where you saved it to.

You鈥檒l find this below really quick and easy.听

TO ALTER THE DATE/TIME TEXT
ON THE SAVE-THE-DATE IMAGE

  1. Open Chrome on your PC (or Safari on a Mac).
  2. Go to the site BeFunky: .
  3. Click 鈥淕et Started鈥�
  4. Click 鈥淓dit a Photo鈥�
  5. Click 鈥淪tart new鈥� (if it presents a choice)
  6. Click 鈥淥pen鈥� in top menu (or 鈥淯pload鈥�)
    Choose 鈥淐omputer鈥�
  7. Find on your computer the file named 鈥淗onorsConvo.bfd鈥� (that was attached to this email and that you saved to your computer)

TO EDIT THE TEXT

  1. Click the date/time area鈥nd an edit box appears
  2. Make your edits

SAVE THE IMAGE (JPG FILE)

  1. Click 鈥淪ave鈥� in top menu
  2. Choose 鈥淐omputer鈥�
  3. Enter Filename 鈥淗onorsConvo鈥濃�nd choose 鈥淛PG鈥� format.
  4. Click 鈥淪ave鈥�

TO FIND YOUR IMAGE/JPG ON YOUR COMPUTER

If using Chrome:

On your keyboard, hold down the 鈥淐TRL鈥� key and while holding, press the 鈥淛鈥� key on your keyboard (which pops up files you鈥檝e downloaded using Chrome)

You should see your filename as the top item. Click 鈥淪how in folder鈥� to access your JPG/image file.

You鈥檒l see your file. Just copy it to wherever you need to use it. J

If using Safari:
Click the 鈥淪how Downloads鈥� button (in top right corner of Safari)

It鈥檒l show your file (HonorsConvo) in the listing.

Of course, it鈥檇 also be smart to copy your file from the downloads location to the folder where you keep your Convocation materials鈥o that you鈥檒l have it next time.

BTW, you can just close the Chrome window when you鈥檙e finished editing and saving.
