How to Set Your Browser's Homepage to TSU

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click the customize icon that looks like three vertical dots in the upper right corner
  3. Click 鈥淪ettings鈥
  4. Scroll to bottom and look for the 鈥淥n startup鈥 section
  5. Select 鈥淥pen a specific page or set of pages鈥
  6. Select 鈥淪et pages鈥 or 鈥淎dd a new page鈥
  7. Type in the URL of the Page you want to open at startup. In this case, of course, it鈥檚 鈥https://www.tnstate.edu

Firefox

  1. On Mozilla Firefox
  2. Press the 鈥淎lt鈥 key on your keyboard and while holding it, press 鈥淭鈥 on your keyboard
  3. Select 鈥淥ptions鈥 on the menu that appears.
  4. In the section 鈥淕eneral鈥, look for 鈥淗ome page鈥. Insert the URL of a website into the 鈥淗ome page鈥 field. In this case, of course, it鈥檚 鈥https://www.tnstate.edu
  5. Then, look for the section 鈥淲hen Firefox starts鈥 and click the button for 鈥淪how your home page鈥

Internet Explorer

  1. Open Internet听Explorer,
  2. Select the听Tools听button (which looks like a round gear)听, and select听Internet options.
  3. On the听General听tab, under听Home page, enter the URL of the site you want to set as a home page. Of course, in this case, it鈥檚: 鈥https://www.tnstate.edu
  4. Select听Apply, and then select听OK. The next time you open a new browsing session or window (or select the听Home听button听), your home pages will be loaded automatically.
